Is there any way to make an accurage section so it is on a centerline. Seems like holding down shift or control dones not make the section verticle or horizontal. When the view appears it does not go exactly through the assembly centerline.

The section line can be snapped to be vertical or horizontal when the mouse cursor is moving close to vertical or horizontal. You can also move the mouse cursor over the point, a dash-point line is showing up to indidate the extension of the point to help define the section line. see attached pictures for your reference.
