Hi!

My fusion 360 ultimate crashes on startup today, yesterday everything was working fine!?

I haven´t installed anything or made any changes to my computer, but fusion refuses to start, it comes to the splashscreen an later it just pops up a crash report, anyone else having this problem?

Hello,

I have same issue today as well, seems there was/is some outage of a necessary servise. So far disconnect your PC from the internet (unplug ethernet cable, switch WiFi off) to force Fusion start in Offline mode.

Sorry for inconvenience.

Yes Offline got fusion to start, but when i open the model ive worked on yesterday, the toolpaths are not there! The setup and everything is gone!

Why is that?!

How does the offline storage work? ist everything saved locally for offline mode?

Hi all,

If you're looking to sign in this morning (something wrong server end, doesn't matter if Mac OS or Windows) turn your internet connection off, sign in and get into Fusion in offline mode.

If on a mac you see a weird grey blank screen with "no user logged in" on the right hand side, just hit file new design and you'll be in to work, I'd say leave it in offline mode until you hear something better!

I´m having the same problem. What is the difference between offline and online mode? Will my changes still be saved in offline mode?

offline mode will still save all your files, they'll be saved locally and you'll have access to any offline files cached on your HDD, the default setting in fusion's preferences is 15 days of work saved, so anything you've made in the past 15 days should still be available to work on offline!

Could you try something for me? Restart your PC, then ensure your computer is truly offline, turn the wifi off/unplug ethernet, then open fusion and just high file-new design and open up the data panel, your files should be there, if it's still gone then I'll ping one of the Product Managers to see what's going on for you. I tried this method on my mac and my colleague has done the same on his PC and we both have access to stuff we've been working on for the past 2 weeks!

I can´t seem to find any of the files I´ve been working on. Where do I access them in offline mode? Thanks for the help!

They should just be in your data panel in "offline mode" which is weird.

I've tried opening up fusion online and it's working ok now at my end, not sure why that is

In case of unavailable itnernet connection Fusion goes to offline mode automatically, Data Panel shows offline files (files use have worked on) automatically. There is no option "browse for offline files".

Okay then that means I can´t access any of my files (some of which I worked on yesterday) either. Hope things are up and running soon. Can someone post a message on here when the issue has beeb fixed so I don´t have to keep trying to open Fusion?

Thanks!

Hi,  I have the same issue with Fusion 360 Windows 8.  If I open offline the product also crashes so I cannot access any of my designs.  If anyone can give an update as to whether Autodesk are aware of the issue and working on a solution - I have CAM I need to get onto a machine as soon as possible. Thanks

Have exaclty the same issue.

If I create a new file and try to save it online, it says the the folders don't exist.

What I have done on Windows: I removed all the Fusion files from my AppData folder (local and roaming), deleted all registry keys that belong to Fusion 360 and re-installed the app (without acutally uninstalling it using Windows).

Now I can see my files again, but the app is unable to download the files from Autodesk and unable to save any files online. When I switch to oflline-mode and back to online, the app asks me to save my current file, but does not come back anymore. Showing me the spinning Donut.

I can only assume that this is an issue with the Autodesk-Cloud-Storage (or some weird user-authentication problem).

Hope you can resolve this problem soon.

EDIT: Added a screenshot of the error

EDIT: Seems to work again
