Fusion 360 will not load completely

I have been using Fusion 36o for many months, but now it will only load the first image, then the "Fusion 360 Title" and the drawing commands then stops.

It will pull up the data panel and load a file, but I cant access the "view cube".

I can get to the "help" tab".

I tried deleting every thing and reloading, but now I am back at the same issue. See Image below.

Help

Hi @Anonymous,

Wow, I have never seen the splash screen fall into the modeling window! Just to check, when you said you deleted the files and reloaded, did you perform the clean uninstall from the guide here? If not, it might be a good first step to try to rule out any installation issues.

Part of me feels this may be graphics related - have you updated your graphics card recently? Do you have access to menus within Fusion 360 still? If you go to the help menu and then select Graphics Diagnostic, what does it say you are using for your graphics card and driver date. Can you send a screen shot? Also, do you have two graphics cards on your computer? If so, let's try launching Fusion with the other one that is not being used and see if the issue clears up then. If it does then we know it might be related to a driver or something along those lines.

Thanks,

SPOT ON.

It was the graphics driver.  I went to the Graphics Diagnostic and checked Limit effects to optimize performance.   It now works.

My computer is a HP TouchSmart PC with ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics.   I also tried Check for GPU driver update, but it failed to find a driver.  I works now anyway.

I did use the guide to reinstall Fusion 360.

Another Happy User.

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

Awesome, glad to hear that did the trick! One suggestion may be to visit the ATI site and find your driver (or a newer version) and make sure that you cleanly install it. This might do the trick as well so you don't have to sacrifice graphics for performance.

Thanks,
