Fusion 360 tangent relationship not working as expected

Hey
friends
I'm trying to move the small cylinder inside the rail using a relationship between them.
But for some reason the little cylinder always escapes out.
Would appreciate help.
Thanks.

Your Cam Slot is not cut correctly.  In the video I try to explain how you can tell by comparing it to a sample model I created.  I have included my model for your reference.  The Tangent Relationship joint is very touchy and will leave the slot if it exceeds it tangent surfaces.

Edit:  You also need some guidance on the follow pin.  I am using a Pin and Slot but you could use a Slider Joint

Attached in a video on one method to make a cylindrical slot cam that is perpendicular to the cylinder surface at any give point on the circumference.
