Hi!

When trying to start a step-by-step tutorial found in the help section of fusion 360 there just is an error message:

Not Found

The requested URL /lxv2/tutorialContent/design_de-DE/design_intro/design_intro.html was not found on this server.

Doesn't other people have this problem, too?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

I have seen this problem a few times before and it is usually when the computer's language setting is set to something other than English. If it is not set to English, do you mind switching it and seeing if you the step-by-step tutorials work then? If so, we are currently looking into this issue and your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Thank you for your answer, James!

I don't want to change the system settings on my computer because it's an important tool for other things, too. But I discovered that there was no user language selected in Fusion 360 at all. Now I selected 'English' and the tutorial works! It seems that the user language field in Fusion 360 remains blank if the system language is not english. Maybe Japanese and Chinese works too 😉

Hi James. I'm having the same problem. I have checked that me language settings are set to English. I am new to Fusion 360 and wanted some tutorials to learn how to use this fantastic software. Many thanks in advance Stratford

Hi @Anonymous,

Actually right now our learning content has changed locations! There are, at this moment, no in-product tutorials. If you go into the help menu in the top-right corner of Fusion and click "Learn Fusion 360" there are TONS of great learning content that walks you through each individual aspect of Fusion 360. Check them out and let me know what you think!

Thanks,

Many thanks for your prompt reply James. (a) Are there plans to provide more exercises such as the one listed at the bottom of each section - these are really helpful. (b) I'm having an issue with the offset tool. I can create an offset without any problem, but I cannot click and drag the sides of the offset area in order to change it before extruding it - any ideas? I was following the lamp tutorial for beginners

Hi @Anonymous,

I do believe they are currently working on expanding the Learning site and it seems everytime I check it, the site is constantly improving! (Go learning team!). As far as the offset tool goes, I think that tutorial may be missing a step. When that offset is set, it puts a constraint on your sketch so that you cannot drag and change its shape by an edge. To fix this, create your offset, then delete the constraint it creates (looks like a weird thumbs up on your sketch). You should then be able to drag the line out.

Let me know if that worked.
