Hello I´m a student from Germany,
Hello,
I am currently constructing a stabilizer for a car. I loaded the assembly in Fusion 360 to undermine the strength.
The stabilizer is a tube which is claimed on Torion (torsion spring)
This tube is slidably mounted in two bearings. At the ends of the tube, two levers are mounted, which apply a torque to the pipe.
The levers are each loaded with an additional force of F = 1000N, so that a torque is generated.
The two bearings are each fixed to the 4 holes.
Unfortunately, there are errors in the static determination of the module in the simulation. In addition, the tube does not slide in the bearings but is rather stuck with the bearings, although the contact was slidingly used.
I also have problems with the material selection:
I use the material aluminum 7075. This is deposited in the library with a yield strength of 145MPa. However, I find in books values of 4-500MPa.
Hopefully you can help me.
Bes regards
