Fusion 360 Educator License Renewal Issue

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have been receiving email notifications indicating that my Fusion
360 "license is expiring on September 18, 2014 and want to make you
aware of your options to continue using Fusion 360." Besides, the
incorrect year being listed, the email includes screenshots that
indicate that I should renew by clicking on a "notification" in the
upper right hand of the F360 interface. However, no such notification
exists when I open F360. My copy is up to date. Thanks for your help.

Thank you.
Christopher

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

I had our accounts team take a peek at this and it turned out that there were some weird things going on in the back end. We made some adjustments so now it should be displaying everything correctly (with the end date being in 2018 I believe). Can you confirm if you are still seeing error messages or not?

Thanks,

Thanks James. With that weird date, I figured there was something going on in the back end.

The strange notifications that I was receiving were by email and not in F360. That said, I'm not sure where the end date is listed. I don't see it under my account or profile within F360. No matter as long as the license doesn't expire and I am able to renew in the future.

Thanks again,

Christopher

Hi @Anonymous,

Ah I see. Well, please let us know if you receive that email again, but like I said, according to our systems you still have a few years before it really expires! If you ever see within Fusion 360 "Trial Expires in...", than that most likely is a good indicator of when it is going to expire (should be within 30 days). So, if you see that message soon, definitely reach out and we can take a deeper peek. Otherwise, I do believe you should be all set!

Thanks,
