Fusion 360: Drawing Title Block with Picture attribute

So I have been learning how to create a custom title block in Fusion using AutoCAD.  I know how to create attributes for the information in the title block that would be typed in on a per drawing basis.  But how do you create the option to click on the icon (in Fusion's dialog box) to place a custom picture?  I want to have the picture box cleared in AutoCAD and able to put in a picture of my choosing when in Fusion.  I am sure it is something I am missing in AutoCAD.  Hoping someone is able to provide suggestions.

Thanks again,

David

I assume you mean a logo in the title block . Double click the title block space and you can select the image to use for your logo.

I created a title block in AutoCAD with a blank space.  But when I double click on it and the open space, there isn't an option to insert a picture.  It seems as though an attribute needs set up for a picture somehow.  The title block that I have created, doesn't have an attribute set up yet for where the picture goes.  I am thinking because of that, I am not getting an option to insert a picture into the open space.

Hi David,

Currently image insert is only supported for our two default title blocks (ASME/ISO).  In the next update we will be supporting general Image insert, which, while not embedded in the title block, would work to overlay an image in this area.  In the longer term, we are currently working on an in-Fusion block editor where you will be able to edit/create titleblocks (including image attach) in Fusion.  I don't have a date for that, but it is currently in development.

Thanks,
Chris

Ok thank you.  By any chance, can the default title blocks be edited?

If not, definitely looking forward to the update.  Will be great to have when I have my students design their own logo for their drawings.

Thanks for the reply.

Hi Dave,

Currently the defaults can't be edited in Fusion.  Once the block editor is ready you will be able to edit them or one you've inserted via DWG from AutoCAD.

Thanks,

Chris
