Friction joint?

I have sliding centre rod that will probably by driven by friction between it and two rotating "wings" either side.

I know I can use motion links for this.  Is there any magic that can simulate friction between these parts though?

Contact sets are another possibility, but too expensive for my taste.

Thanks for posting! For this type of motion, you'll need to use either a motion link or contact sets in Fusion 360. I believe Dynamic Simulation in Inventor may have some options as well.
