Freezing a Design and Drawings

I have just finished a Design and produced the Drawings and I am now arranging manufacture of the parts. For QA purposes I want to 'freeze' the design to prevent changes to the files (accidental or deliberate). Is there a function where I can freeze the files to prevent changes? If not is it a matter of writing the files to 'uneditable' formats?

If not, Fusion Team, It would be great to be able to define named 'freeze' points such that those points are locked or lockable in terms of changes.  Also it would be great to be able to delete all versions except the freeze points and of course the current version.

The short version is... I don't think there's currently a way to lock a design. I trust you've discovered Milestones, but that doesn't do anything in terms of preventing an edit, or tying a drawing to any particular version of a file. 

I don't actually even know a way to create a drawing of anything other than the latest version of a file. 

Suggest adding to the IdeaStation / Feedback forum. HERE might be  an appropriate spot.

Thank you very much, not what I wanted to hear but at least I now know that I had not missed something obvious. Tried to add the suggestion to the Feedback Forum, but it tells me I am not important enough.

I wasn't aware that there were limitations on Feedback Forum posts. 

I've added a reply to that thread on this issue. 

We love Fusion 360 in many ways.... but neither lifecycle management and drawings are on that list 😉
