Flip drawing dimension to opposite side

Hello,

See attached picture.  I would like to flip the dimension circled in red to the other side.

I know I can pull the dimension from the other side to make it look a little cleaner but this issue keeps coming up for me.

I found a forum post from 2017 requesting this feature be added.  I imagine it has been added by now?

Thanks,

Nick

Hey @soroka.nick

There isn't currently a way to do this.
I do see this as an existing feature request. These get prioritized by the product managers. I've added you to the request as well as your example image.

Thanks,

I just had this exact issue in Fusion 2702.1.58.  The Assistant told me to click and drag the dimension which just dragged the dimension (of course) and then it apologised and said that it's not possible and to visit the feedback website (feedback.autodesk.com) to upvote a report about the issue.  And again the assistant sends me down another rabbit hole that is of course the wrong site completely for that.  And then the assistant apologises again and sends me here (well, tells me to google for a link to come here) and then voila! I see it seems we're two years along with no fix.

Ah, nothing give me more pleasure than to die a slow death being led by AI to my inevitable doom.

I feel your pain. I used to say agent on the phone, now I type it. Believe me little AI helper, I know all your solutions, we wouldn't be having a conversation if my situation was simple.

All we want is a checkbox option with the reverse icon (double arrows) like there is with a joint.  Place dimension, double click dimension, in the popup menu, check the reverse checkbox, dimension number switches sides. I bet its a couple of real work hours to implement and it would be a real win for users.

I will say I spoke to Autodesk sales when they came to the company I worked at. I showed them an issue where modeled threads option would not produce the starting thread if there was already a chamfer. It was fixed pretty quick.
