Flat Pattern troubles

Hello,

I've been struggling with a flat pattern part for quite a while now. I can model the part quite easily but as I need a flat pattern modeling isn't good enough. To my knowledge for flat pattern to work I have to model the part through the flat pattern tools only ( Or use convert to sheet metal? Couldn't get that to work regardless)

This is the part I am trying to get a flat pattern on.

Image below is as close as I've gotten to a flat pattern

I can get a flat dimension off the curved part modeled but cannot get the bottom sketched part to work in anyway. I have worked very little with flat pattern tools in fusion other than simple 90 degree, flat bends, and simple shapes. Am I approaching this the wrong way entirely?

Any guidance would be appreciated. F3D attached

You cannot create a flat pattern of your completely folded component because to do so, you would have to deform the metal.  Metal deformation is not allowed in the Fusion 360 sheet metal tools.  If you could fold the lip up, the curved section would have to get longer on the sides and shorter in the middle which is not allowed.

I recreated the first contour flange the correct way as you will see in the model and the Screencast.  I faked the folded lip fillets but the intersection edges are not really correct.

Accepted solution yesterday but did not get a chance to respond. I had a feeling it wouldn't be possible but thanks for the screencast on how you made the part. Learned a few things watching that.
