I have this trough to where I need the bottom creased, so the water runs to the center of the trough. I used lofted flange. Is there a way to flatten this. Or maybe I am not creating it correctly.

Will you manufacture this part in-house?

Do you have a tooling to deform the material?

Or can you have a Rip in the sheet.

Do you want a flange around the four edges?

Yes, we will manufacture in house. We use a press brake. What do you mean by a Rip? I want it in one pc. if that is what you are asking.

Do you want the hole to be circular in the formed part or in the flat pattern (cannot be both)?

To make on a press brake you need a Rip in the material that will have to be welded or soldered after forming.

You could have the Rip along the short edge, the long edge or along one of the bends.

Thank you! Ok I get it. Basically, it's a relief cut so the geometry can do its thing?
