Flat Pattern Complex Object

Hi all,

I've recently trying to do a flat pattern on a rather complex curve/surface like this angle 3.pngangle2.pngangle1.png

but I can't seem to convert these into sheet metal required for flat patterning it. I will attach my fusion file here should anyone be able to point me in the right direction. I would like to know the parameters on what's possible and what's not possible in flat patterning a shape. Thanks in advance!

Fusion 360 cannot handle Compound Curves when it comes to sheet metal unfolding. This means bends in two or more directions, on the same surface, are not possible to unfold.

Fusion 360 can't flat pattern compound curves but I have had reasonable success with Autodesk's Orphan child Meshmixer. (FREE).

In this case the .SVG export from Meshmixer did not faithfully scale so I adjusted as best I could.

I think this shape is well suited to this Workflow but I'd check my outputs thoroughly before you start cutting up valuable 10mm Plate! The Flattened .svg is below the original Surface body and has been Extruded to a 10mm Thick solid body.
