Finding the time of an event in the timeline

I added a base feature to a design and can see the event in the timeline.  Is there any way to find the actual time and date that the base feature was added, or perhaps somewhat equivalently the first version of the design that contains the change?  I really don't want to have to manually go back through 50 versions of the design to find where the feature was added.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything. I looked in different bodies and components and looked in the properties and detail control options but I never saw anything of that sort. This would be a good idea for the IdeaStation though.

If you're manipulating a body, there is not "Find Feature" option. Have you tried stepping back through the timeline (not versions). If it disappears you've found the feature.

Thanks for the reply, but I have no problem finding the point in the timeline at which I added the feature.  I can just select the body associated with the feature and use the scroll bar above the timeline to look for the entry with the "///" above it.  I would like to know the actual time that I added the feature so that I can figure out if it is the latest version by comparing the "add base feature" time to the time of the most recent version of the source part.

Okay - you want a feature base diff, or even better a search for the versions. That's a tough topic and you can't do this right now. The only thing I would have in mind is Rule #2 and this time it would mean "Write commit (save) comments". I know - nobody likes to hear this.
