fillet on corner point

I'm planning a woodworking project that involves 45deg miter cuts joined together in a frame shape. The real life version of this will require rounding the vertical outer edges after glueing up. In fusion 360 though I can't keep my fillet going straight through into the other piece joining at 45deg like I would if I were to router out after glueing. I attached a photo to explain what I mean. How can I make this look rounded the whole way through?

Create a sketch on the upper edge of the top piece.  Draw the profile of the area to be removed. Use Extrude|Cut to remove the offending section.

p.s. Use User parameters for the fillet radius and profile to make it parametric.
