Fillet Error on Body with Multiple Edges

I'm trying to fillet on the edges of a design and I keep getting an error:

"The fillet/chamfer could not be created at the requested size. This might be occurring at the ends of the selected edges. "

The design was created in TinkerCAD, grouped, then sent to Fusion, so I assume there's something wrong in my workflow, or, I need to create the design from scratch in Fusion?

I've attached the f3d and STL files. It's the top and bottom edges I'm trying to fillet.

please clarify which edges you want to fillet, and what radius you are hoping to get.  Sorry, but "top and bottom edges" is not very clear.

 

"I need to create the design from scratch in Fusion?"  yes, that is what I would do.  This shape is pretty simple.  Although, to be honest, the conversion from STL seems to be pretty clean.

Hi Jeff, many thanks for the response. I've attached a screenshot with yellow lines showing where I want the fillet of approx 0.5mm radius.

I think part of the problem here is the geometry;  For instance, this little sliver face at the front is going to cause problems:

Is that sliver face intended?

 

Second, there are some gaps that I suspect are not intended.  For instance the side face of that bottom piece is very slightly away from the inside side of the curved face:

I think if it were me, for a shape that is as simple as this one, I would just start from scratch and rebuild it.  You might be able to use this geometry for sketches to make it easier.

I recreated your model using Mesh Section Sketches and then applied the 0.5mm fillets as best I could from your picture.  Feel free to add and change the ones I did within reason.  Model is attached.
