Fill a Hole

Hi,

im making a car on auto desk fusion 360, and there is a hole on the top which I can't seem to fill. I read online to try to patch it, but there is no option to do this.

If you go into the Patch workspace you will be able to patch the hole. You can also try deleting it if you want it gone permanently. Simply select the feature wall and hit the Delete key.

Can you post a picture, screencast, or even better, the model itself?  This will assure that you get a more helpful response.

The answer depends on the kind of data you are working with.  If the data is surface data (not closed), then you would fill the hole using the Patch workspace.  If the data is sold (closed), then there are several ways to approach this in the Model workspace (selecting the hole faces and delete, etc).  If your data is Sculpt (TSplines), then there are other approaches.

thanks,

Jeff
