file generation for website & mobile app

Was unable to view a design in the mobile app (iphone) or by using the URL generated when a design is made public/shareable.

However by navigating in to the web page for the design via the desktop app., then clicking the "view and comment" button, was able to provoke the GENERATION of the version of the design that IS VISIBLE in mobile app and via web pages.

Have noticed this sort of problem before. These versions for web / mobile are not being generated in a timely fashion and sometimes their generation is NOT prompted by attempts in mobile app or via shared web page. Bug? Something not coded yet?

I'm pretty sure this is just a bug, I haven't had any problems with viewing things on the web version or mobile app as long as I have a solid internet connection. Maybe your connection speed is the issue or it may be a bug that needs to be fixed. For now, I would just stick to viewing the files natively or through A360, as that might give you what you are looking for a lot quicker and without the hassle.

For info it's generally working better now.

There is still a stage in which the version is generated for the mobile which may take some time and involves trying to open the file and then trying again. Have the impression that simple files generate quickly (15 secs) and more complex files take some time (say 2 mins).

Occasionally there's a file that fails to generate. Usually can fix this by saving another version from the computer application. However it's a weakness that you can't choose between versions. Because if you are already away from your computer and discover that the latest version won't open on your iPad/IPhone then it's too late, you can't show the design!
