I've noticed that, following the March 2025 update, Fusion now shows warnings like the one below when you delete a feature in the timeline. It warns you that the feature you are about to delete has children which will also be deleted.
This is useful information, but it would be even more useful if the children of a feature (and ideally its parents too) were highlighted when you select it in the timeline. I've mocked up an example below.
I've used other CAD systems which do this, and it really helps in many scenarios: eg when you're trying to anticipate the consequences of editing, reordering or deleting features, trying to diagnose issues with an unfamiliar model etc.
Since Fusion can already create a list of children to produce the delete warning, I guess this would be fairly easy to implement?
