FEA Test of Inner Bracket

Hi

I'm trying to conduct an FEA simulation test to see if the inner bracket is able to withstand a 50kg load placed on top. The inner bracket holds two pieces of aluminium rails together. How do I go about constraining, applying the load and contacts for this study?

Hi @sanket223.patil

Attached is the file. I'm trying to test if the bracket is able to withstand a load of 50kg acting vertically downwards on the horizontal rail. However, I'm not too sure which faces on the vertical rail to constraint, which moment/loads to apply and how to apply the manual contacts. Looking forward to your reply.

Hello @Anonymous,

I don't think the file was attached with your last posting. Also, would some of the examples and documentation in the Fusion 360 Help "here" assist with your issue at hand.
