Hello to Fusion 360

I would like to make a conical extension as a beginner, but somehow it just doesn't work. I'm sure someone has an idea and can help me.

I also took screenshots and sent the Fusion 360 file along with it.

I think you want to create a conical extension on the end of your body.  You specified the base diameter but you did not mention the angle or the height.  Your original body was created using cached geometry as your sketch is missing.  Probably the reason you could not create the base of the cone is because the surface you want it on is not flat.  You can edit the cone using the last Extrusion in the timeline.  Model attached.

Hallo jhackney1972

Dachte Du antwortest Mir in Deutsch zurück.

Thought you would answer me back in German.

I'll try to implement your type, but the bottom side is flat, then the *extrusion* should at least work from this side, or am I completely wrong in my assumption.

You have posted to the English Fusion 360 Support Forum so I am using my native language.  The end of your model where I assume you want the conical extrusion is NOT flat.  I used a surface feature to create a flat surface and extruded both ways, one way just enough to bridge the gap in the curved surface so I could combine the new body with the original.  If you think it is flat, try to create a sketch on it, you cannot.

Good day!
You are always welcome to post here in the English language Fusion forum, but if you are more comfortable in your native language, we do have a German language Fusion forum that you might enjoy.

Thank you, and good luck!

Guten Abend CGBenner
