Extruding text problem

Greetings,

I'm having a problem getting the text in my file to extrude.  I intend to try to carve into a piece of wood, but I keep getting an error that the F360 failed to extrude.  I'm not sure if it's the specific font that it doesn't like because of raster issues or what, but is there anything anyone can see that I'm doing wrong here?  A setting, an order of operations, anything?  I checked and the font is in the main windows font folder as a .TTF file.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

Chris

Hi,

Even if individual elements can be extruded, this font cannot be engraved.

Thank you for the response, what is it exactly that makes this font not able to be engraved?  Not arguing, but if I'm going to pick a new font, I'd like to not pick another that can't be engraved.  Is it simply the jagged nature of the font?

This is precisely the basis of my statement.

It works fine on my Windows machine:

There is no need to extrude it.

Hi,

I would have bet that it wouldn't work.
Fortunately, I didn't.
