Extruding at an angle.

Hi All,

Having a bit of a problem creating a shape and can't find any info on this.

Attached is the solid I need to create. Basically I need to remove the part on the right of the line.

Tried extruding in a few ways but didn't manage to achieve what i needed. I also tried sweep, which sort of done what I wanted but not quite.

I think I am missing something here...

I also need to place some sketch on the inclined face and extrude it strait not at the angle of the face.

In essence I need to create something akin to the structure of an HV electricity pillion upside down.

I would appreciate some tips on this.

Thank you.

Best Regards

1. Actually, what you attached is an image file, not a Fusion solid body file.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

2. Can you post an image of a "HV electricity pillion" example?

I probably should have named the attached solid as "wild...guess" rather than "best guess".

Hi,

for skew faces use Draft feature. In you case, project your line into appropriate face/plain (or create new construct plane). Then extrude/sweep appropriate profile (face portion).
