extrudeing face in sculpt workspace

i was trying to sculpt a bike frame , by seeing autodesk fusion 360 youtube video by Curt Chan , he extruded faces with extrude command , but unfortunately i was not able to , and i also saw people posting same problem in youtube in comment section   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OphzbTt4rKo  check out the video i followed ( this is my model  https://a360.co/2TvOrVc). thanks in advance Man Happybefour extrude optionbefour extrude optionafter extrude , nothing happendafter extrude , nothing happend

To extrude new faces in sculpt mode, as opposed to just move existing edges, you need to hold the ALT key (Windows) or Option key (macOS).

your tspline is hanging lose at the crank shaft.  tsplines with errors won't extrude. see screen cast.

Any tutorial that does not regularly check the model using box view mode and and model at least 50% in box view mode isn't worth its salt. Period! Every halfway experienced Sub-D modeler will tell you that.

 

As such when you cannot follow a tutorial, explore on your own and observe what the tools do. The tutorial you are following is quite old the the tools might have changed. Old bugs have been removed, new bugs have been introduced etc.
