Extrude problem

I have a couple of 2d sketches I used to make a 3d sketch. All are turned on so they are visible, but the extrude command won't select them. Any ideas on what may be wrong?

Edit the sketch containing the circles and make sure show profiles is enabled on the sketch palette.

Further, it acts like the circles are not closed. I am not getting a shading to indicate they are closed. These were all drawn with the center point circle command, so how could they not be closed?

Thank you , Sir! I must have turned it off by mistake. It was driving me nuts!
