Extrude Intersect - Question

Hello All,

Etsfrench had just done an amazing job of helping me with a problem. Watching their solution made me wonder if it is possible to use a body/component to form a Boolean subtraction between two entities but have that body/component remain after the operation - almost like an inverse intersect?

So a component automatically deletes the intersected portion of a 'body' that correspond to the shape of that component.

Thanks

Matt

Hi Saeed,

Thanks,I tried that based on your suggestion and its not quite what I was after.

If you think about it an inverse intersect would hollow out the intersection instead of creating an object which was intersected - very useful

I see what you mean now

Actually such feature isn't availabe at the moment, but there are some other workarounds that gives the exact same result you're looking for in few simple steps

Here is a screencast, i hope it helps
