Extending a solid

I now have the following hull where i have removed the deck and the surface on the transom. I would like to extend the deck rewards and the hull meets extends to meet this. So in effect removing the sloping transom to only have a flat one.

I have been using the extend function to extend all four surfaces but have the following questions.

1. Is it possible to extend the whole shape?

2. If i extend the hull, is there a way to draw a horizontal line to remove the excess surface area?

i do indeed and thanks for that. I'm trying to learn, would you be able to give a rough idea of the process you used or at least the tools?

I forgot to capture history first, so you don't see the offset.

Well, first offset 0,00 mm the outer hull in surface mode.

Loft the two half profiles to get the transom
