Extending a part which was imported from an STL

I have imported an STL file into Fusion 360. I would like to extend the highlighted sections so they are twice as long without affecting any of the curves at the ends - I just want to extend the straight parts. How can I do this? Thanks.

For a simple part like that - I recommend that you use the faceted stl geometry only as reference in creating native geometry and then discard the faceted mesh.
