Export Flat Pattern to DXF

I'm working with sheet metal for the first time. When I try to export my flat pattern to DXF, it gives an unknown error.

I read in the help that flat patterns may have issues exporting if you've modified the sheet metal with extruding. I have done this — it's the only way I knew of to cut holes in it!

I've tried suppressing my screw chamfers in case that was causing issues, but that didn't help.

Anyone any ideas what I can do?

(File attached. I'm trying to export the components "Top (SM)" and "Bottom (SM)".)

Appears to be a bug in the program.

Try one of these other work-arounds.

Thanks! I worked around it by projecting the flat pattern into a new sketch, then importing that. It meant the bend lines were not on separate layers, but hopefully my fab house can deal 🙂
