Export 3D sketch

I want to export a 3D sketch in IGS/IGES or in other (open-by-all extension). I've tried DXF but I have to select a plane and, in the end, the 3d sketch will not have the same position as before exporting.

If you use Export from the file menu and save as a DWG or DXF you can export 3d sketches.

Actually, Save As DXF also exports a 3d sketch.

Here in Fusion then Rhino. You mention needing to select a plane, but that's only for importing DXF files so is the problem trying to export then import?

I want to open the 3D Sketch on Moldflow. By importing the DXF the sketch changes position. So It's needed manual translate it.

Is the sketch in a translated component or created on a plane other than the XY? I think if you hide everything in the design apart from the sketch, then use Export from the file menu the sketch should use the document UCS. Also make sure you don't have any Capture Positions pending.

Can you make a simple test file you can share here? Save as an f3d.

instead of exporting, right click the sketch and select "save as dxf". the resulting geometry will have the same origin as the selected sketch, regardless off what plane it's on or translations.

I've uploaded a 3d sketch. I've tried Export DXF and Save as DXF but without success.

I see you're working in direct mode and I think you've moved the sketch plane so Save As DXF doesn't give the same orientation as what you see in Fusion. But for me using Export does give the same orientation as the document when I check it in Rhino. One thought if you're not seeing this is have you got both of your programs set to Z up?

Do you have the possibility to open it in Moldflow?

Also, I can't open it on NX (Or I don't have the correct procedure). If I could do it, probably I would export it as an IGS file.

Sorry, no don't have mould flow. Do you know if mould flow is set up the same as Fusion so Top is Z up? Some programs use Y up so might be your problem.

I've attached the DXF file I created just in case it might help.

Have you reported the problem to Moldflow? I've opened the  DXF in ZW3D and it correct so problem must be Moldflow.

It looks like the center lines go to (0,0) in MF. I've now open a case in the respective Forum.

The guys from Moldflow Forum have helped me by using the scrip attatched. To export a specific sketch just put it visible and run the script.
