Exploded View - Adjust scale of motion

Hello,

I am trying to make an exploded view of a fastener stack for use in a drawing but I am having trouble getting the components to stay in order during the manual explode. The washer in my design only moves fractions of how much the fastener and spacer move (see pictures below).

Is there a way to adjust the "scale" of exploded motion? I have maxed out the slider but that doesn't seem to move the component far enough to be seen in an isometric assembly view in my design. Notice that the "blue" washer hasn't moved as far as the "pink" spacer. The same limited range of motion occurs if I manually move each component one at a time.

In another note, I have difficulty in toggling between the "One-Step Explosion" versus the "Sequential Explosion" and my trace lines will sometimes not appear (see above button is toggled blue). I would appreciate any help on exploding a model. I watched the tutorial videos but those did not solve my problems.

Thanks very much,

Tim

Hey Tim,

Care to share a public file? I can probably help explain how to make this do what you want.

I'm having the same issue, seems to only be on washers for some reason. They only move a fraction of what the other components will move so I cant keep part order relative to assembly when it is exploded.

In case you still looking for solution, you can go to the Move you want to edit and choose Edit Action. You should be able to adjust the moving range of the component
