Emboss Feature not working on imported SVG

Strange thing about this emboss - F360 is giving me an error when trying to emboss this on the cylinder.

--> cannot create emboss feature at specified depth

I was oddly able to do part of the SVG image (the circle) but cant get the plane.  Tried multiple depths, and outward depths.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

F3d attached.

Hi,

The Emboss function refuses its service because of the contour quality.
After conversion to Bezier (external application) with a tolerance of 0.01mm everything is fine again.

This is awesome!  I had no idea the SVG was that bad.  Thank you!

What is the software used to create the Bezier from an SVG?

I created it in V-Carve pro.

Hi, had a similar problem with an SVG that had a Voronoi pattern with close to 40 curved profiles that emboss rejected, no matter what parameter adjustment I tried. I solved it all inside Fusion 360 by first activating the emboss feature, and selecting / deselecting the curved profiles one by one, until I found which ones were breaking the emboss feature, and deselected them; now the emboss worked fine. Next, I made very close offsets of those rejected profiles, re-edited the emboss, and added the offset profiles, which the emboss feature happily accepted.
