Edit sketch isn't possible after activating history

Hello
I have the following problem:
I imported a file with a few sketches in it to edit them. After I imported them I usually doubble click on the sketch in my file tree. Now I noticed that whenever I first activate history to show all my operations I made, I can't edit my sketch anymore when doubble clicking on it. If I won't activate the history it all works fine. 

Do you know why this exactly happens?

yes.  When you convert to parametric design, the sketches are considered "direct modeling" sketches.  To edit them, you will need to first edit the Base Feature that owns them.  Admit this is confusing, but for better or worse, this is how you do it.
