Edit projected spline

I see to my endless joy that you can now edit a projected sketch if you break the link to the original. This has been a request of mine and I thank whoever made it available. However the editable spline becomes a control point spline, not a fit point spline. Is there a way to convert between the two? I find fit point splines much more useful and easier to edit.

@Claus_J - thanks for noticing, and yes, I agree, this is a great step forward.  Unfortunately, no, today there is no way to convert between a CV spline and a fit point spline.  The reason we convert these to CV splines has to do with the math involved, and some limitations with the math libraries we use.  It is possible to convert any projected spline edge to an exact CV spline, but not necessarily to a fit point spline.  Fit point splines use some logic to produce a "nice" curve that is intended to be used in creating designs.  It would be possible someday to do a conversion from CV to fit point, but likely that would require some approximation tolerance.  So, "never say never", but it's not coming any time soon.
