Dear friends,
While passing an Generative Design Autodesk course on Coursera, I watched a bunch of videos how to edit a form, but probably missed the point why I have to do that.
Please take a look at the attached picture. I edit the form in my 1st course challenge, and there is a question - should I cure these areas ? I am talking about areas where black lines are kinda hidden. It is a general question without any link to course requirements since I just want to gain new skills.
It is clear why I have to cure areas which attached to the preserved geometry and so forth, but for these areas I have got no reason. Tell me please, is it necessary? Does it make a model better in terms of 3d printing? Does it reduce possible mistakes while saving the solid body? I just try to figure what sort of problems these untreated areas can bring. There are too much of them, and it is matter of time.
Thank you for any help!
Best regards,
Dmitrii Sokolov.
