Edge chamfer issue

I tried looking for similar problems here, but I didn´t find any.

Here is the part I created and the edges I want to chamfer

When I try to chamfer the right red edge here is what happens to the left one

If i try the left one

I`ve attached the part file

You could create a sketch of the chamfer on the side profile and cut into the piece to create the chamfer.
