Duplication Pattern - Patterning based on sketch points

The CAM workspace has a pattern type called duplication that will pattern toolpaths based on a source point and selected target points. I've often had a similar need in the CAD workspace, wanting to pattern/duplicate bodies or features based on an irregular layout of points. Is there any existing workflow in Fusion 360 that would accomplish this (and is editable to add/remove points later on)? I've muddled by with simple component/body duplication and the move to point command, but that's not exactly an elegant solution especially with a lot of elements, and it doesn't address features at all.

Appreciate any insight folks can offer.

@g-andresen I don't think that's what he's asking for.

In another CAD app that Fusion 360 aggressively tries to compete with, you can define a pattern of random or irregular sketch points and use these points as the location for pattern instances.

In combination with re-usable patterns, this can be an incredibly powerful feature.

@zach.allaun

You will need Autodesk Inventor Professional for this.

@TrippyLighting  hit the nail on the head. I'm hoping for a solution within Fusion 360 in the not-too-distant future.

I was just lamenting the absence of a sketch point based pattern.  Hopefully this will make it into Fusion's feature set one day.
