Drilling Function

Hello,

I'm working with a Shepeoko 5 Pro CNC machine and I'm wondering if there's an option to not initially drill the full depth of the hole. I'm drilling 2 guide holes in a piece so I can use .25 inch dowels to register when I flip it over and cut the other side of the piece. The deep drilling function works but at the start it drills to the full depth which taxes my router. To make it work I set up 3 drilling passes changing the offset on the bottom height section a little deeper each time but I wasn't sure if there was an option to just peck and retract the whole distance from the start.

In your Drill configuration dialog, go to the Heights Tab and go to the Bottom Height.  You can can select any reference point you desire then enter the Offset you desire.  If you select Hole Bottom for instance and you have a 1 inch deep hole, you can use an Offset of 0.5 to only go half way through.
