Hi @bwalker145
Not sure why myslef, but in Fusion 360, the Continuous Feature symbol (CF) isn't available in the symbol library. Here's how you can add it with workarounds:
Manual Text Addition:
- Create your dimension or annotation.
- In the "Text" section of the dimension properties, type "CF" manually after the dimension text.
Using Unicode/Custom Font:
- If "CF" as a symbol isn't recognized, type it in plain text. Fusion 360 supports basic customizations but doesn't have a direct ASME Y14.5 library for uncommon symbols like Continuous Feature.
Feature Request or Update:
- Autodesk continuously updates Fusion 360. If this symbol is critical for your workflow, you can submit feedback to Autodesk for inclusion in future updates.
Alternatively, you can add the "CF" note as a leader text annotation near the dimension to adhere to ASME standards.
Can't lie, I don't spend enough time on fusion with actual products, and not nearly enough time on the forum, so I apolologise if I'm wrong
Regards
Ricky
