I want to replace a title block that I used in a previous drawing.  I  have created a new template, but I was hoping I could replace the old one with out changing the part.

any thoughts?

Hi, @tchmiel112

Of course, you can change the title block. I shared the screencast on how to make it. Link below:

Thank you for the information.

That isn't what I was looking for.  Perhaps, I didn't describe my situation properly.

Once I have completed a model, the next step is to produce a drawing.  I do this by pulling down on the 'change workspace' menu and select drawing. From this point, I can select a template along with a few different things.  I can then continue the process of producing drawings for production.

If I wanted to update an existing drawing with a new template, how do I do that? I don't have any title blocks saved anywhere else, therefore I can't import any other file.  All the templates I have are done with Fusion 360.

Is there a way to swap the used template for a current one?

Thanks?

Hi tchmiel112,

You can do this provided the drawing you are working on and the template you want to add a new sheet from are of the same standard with same units.

In the sheet bar at the bottom, right-click the active sheet and select Add Sheet.  Now instead of "From" Current Drawing, browse to the template and then sheet you want to use.

We don't currently allow mix/match of standards/units though, so the settings need to be the same between the current drawing and the template you're selecting, otherwise you won't be able to OK the add sheet dialog to proceed.

Once the new sheet is added the title block in that sheet will be added to the current drawing so you can select it for use in other existing sheets.

Thanks,
Chris
