document tabs disappear

Hello, 

I after I created a drawing from my model I clicked back on my model tab only to find that the drawing tab went away. I tried to re-open the drawing file through my window drwop down menue but it only shows that the drawing file is still open. I cannot access the drawing file with out first closing the 3D model file. I also cannot click on the drawing tab to get back to the drawing file since it disapperaed. Any way I can fix this?

Hi @sricci.design,

Unfortunately we have not seen an issue like this before.   I would suggest you close Fusion 360 and then relaunch.  If you are able to reproduce the issue, can you send me (kris.berg@autodesk.com) the steps to reproduce?  Also please include information on your OS (Windows or Mac and version).

Hello Kris,

Yes I tried relaunching F360 and even fully shutting down and restarting my computer. I am running F360 on Mountain Lion. Here are the steps that occur when I encounter this problem:
1) open fusion 3d file from c-panel
2) create drawing from component in file
3) click back on 3d file tab
.... Now the drawing tab goes away and I cannot access it. Also I just tried opening two different 3d files from the control panel and no tab showed up. I cannot click back and forth between two different open files. I hope this helps and that you can resolve the issue.

I reset the tool bar and that fixed the tab disappearing problem.
