Do we have a permanent pivot point yet?

I know this was requested six years ago and accepted, but seeing as it's six years later, I'm assuming this extremely essential basic feature has been implemented?  How do you set a pivot point to be the permanent pivot for that object?

The answer is NO, there is no way to set a Permanent Pivot Point.  You can however set a temporary one very quickly using the Right Click Menu.

My experience has been that F360's dynamic pivot management is vastly superior to a manual system. I have some gripes, but they're all of the "F360 is trying to do the right thing; it just isn't doing it well enough to be useful in this situation." Despite the current system's faults, it's good enough to demonstrate why pivot selection should generally be left up to the software and not foisted off on the user.

I have no doubt at all that there are cases where additional manual control would be helpful. But if you want to fight this battle, you need to find and document these cases and explain why the auto system couldn't possibly do it right.

The length of time a request exists has nothing to do with whether it gets implemented or not. Priority is determined by a lot of different factors. One of them is the number of requests. And, to be honest, this one is just not one that is highly requested.
