Direct-modeling exporting problem

Hey,

So I am currently modeling something in the direct modeling feature as it allows me to import an STL file. When I did this and made my changes and have my assembly all modeled I try to export it as a STEP file. When I press export fusion pops up with a window that says ...Receiving data... and then never changes. I tried turning back on parametric modeling but to no avail. Help please!

To help me troubleshoot the issue, could you send me your application log files? We have created a great article, linked here, that describes how to obtain the application log files for your given operating system.
