Dimensioning an angle in reference to the horizontal axis

Hello!

I'm still relatively new to making drawings using using Fusion 360. Could anyone help me figure out how to make a dimension relative to the horizontal / vertical axis of the plane of the drawing?

For reference, I'm trying to dimension the angle of the blue line in reference to the horizontal. The best I've been able to do is to make a sketch on the drawing with a line acting the horizontal axis (the red line), then dimension it in reference to sketch line. However, even then, I get a warning saying my dimension is not associated.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Unfortunately I can't do that, as the file contains proprietary information.

Hey @carson9T2H5

Dimensions placed between sketches and geometry will show as disassociated.

If you placed the dimension between the angled edge and the horizontal line of the center mark, the angle would show.

But is there anyway to make it so the angle is referenced like the one shown above? I want the angle to be referenced from the "imaginary horizontal" that is directly connected to the endpoint of the line, not the closest center mark, even if it gives the same angle.

Hi,

Create a dummy file to illustrate the situation
