Difficulty with slider joints

I am having difficulty positioning slider joints between imported bolts from McMaster-Carr and a base component (component 21). There are two bolts. I was able to position one bolt into the proper slot and limit the motion to the proper length however, I can’t get the bolt inserted to the proper depth. The washer should contact the base surface. I have tried numerous approaches but to no avail. I could certainly use some help. The second bolt needs to go into the furthest opposite slot.

Attached is the project file.

Thank you. I appreciate the video. I had tried the pin and slot but couldn't get the bolt to slide in the slot. Your video pointed the way. My next request will be for tips to mate surfaces. Trying to get two surfaces of a gusset to mate to the inside surfaces of an angle. Been working on it for about a half an hour but haven't exhausted the user help pages yet. stay tuned

You mentioned placing a gusset inside an angle.  Take a look at the Screencast for my method of first placing it dead center of the angle and then placing it 1" from one edge.  Both use the same method but I use a sketch point to locate the gusset.  Model is attached if you want to play with it.
