Different Size Holes with one sketch?

Hello all.

I nneded to install a 4 in round port on a panel that has mounting holes in the perimeter.

In the sketch I placed a center "Point" then drew the circle for the perimeter screws. Measured and marked the screw locations. Exit sketch and placed the correct size holes in the perimeter points. When I tried to place the 4" hole in the center points it effected all the much smaller perimeter holes. I couldn't figure out any way to use that center point for a different size hole. I never selected the center point for a hole when doing the perimeter holes. Yet the center point disappeared when using the perimeter points. The only way I could complete the project was to create a new sketch with the 4 inch hole. Which I wasn't able to reference the first sketch.

Question

Is there a way to create a sketch with hole locations but create different size hole?

Is the only way to draw circles and push pull? Seems odd to loose the " Hole" features.

Thank You

Brad

Please attach your model.  If you do not know how, open what you have done in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save to your hard drive.  Then use the Attachments section of any post to attach it.

it's a little hard to tell from your explanation (a screencast might have been helpful), but if I am reading it correctly, what I think is going on is just that the first Hole "consumes" the sketch, and by default, that makes the sketch invisible.  You may just have to go in and turn the sketch on using "eyeball" icon to use it in the second Hole.

Unfortunately I can't share this project publicly. I'm going to see if Jeff's suggestion below works.

Thank You

I usually place the more numerous holes first.

Fusion will automatically select all of the sketch points - Ctrl (un)Select any that you do not want.

Finish the Hole command.

Make the sketch visible again.

Start the Hole command again, and this time the remaining point(s) that were unselected in the first Hole feature will automatically be selected.

Enter you second Hole size and finish.

Oops, never mind - wrong CAD program.

Hot the nail on the head. The big issue is placing a hole turns off sketch visibility off. Turning that back on allowed me to add additional different size holes.

Thanks All!
