Diameter of a threaded body

Diameter of a threaded body

Hello,

I am working on a project using an imported model of an antenna connector. I need to find the diameter of a threaded body inside it, but am unable to use any of the Inspection tools since the threading is a spiral. I.e. instead of a diameter I get the length of the entire spiral.

I tried using projections/intersects but they have the same issue.

I can create a new sketch with a new circle snapped to the projection, and then Inspect that, but I’d like to know a simpler way.

What is the best way to find the diameter of any threaded body?

Thanks,
