Developable surfaces ?

Hello,

Is there any developable surface tool within Fusion 360 ? I did not found any stuff about this, and I need to do a funnel from a simple sheet of plastic or similar.

Say, remember when you was a little child at school, and you draw a circle on a sheet of paper, then just two lines to put off a quarter of it, the scissors and... Magic, when you roll line 1 on line 2, what a beautiful cone ! 😄

A short sample of what I try to do :

How can I make those kind of things within Fusion 360 ?

Thank you very much for your time,

Guy

It's called Sheet Metal - have to follow a few rules, but does it in reverse as you are asking, make the model, then develope the Flat Pattern.

Might help...

There is no tool that is specifically for making develop-able surfaces.  A big gaping hole in Fusions capabilities. IF you create a develop-able surface, then sheet metal will flatten it for you.
