Hello all,

I have a problem creating the ribs of the piece in attachment.

Can somebody give me an idea how to start this?

Thanks in advance.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Take a look at the attached video.  I made up my dimensions but you will get the idea.  Your model is attached also.

This is just to get you started in the right direction.

Post back if you can't get exactly what you want.

Edit: I see @jhackney1972 was ahead of me.  Now you have two slightly different techniques.

Thank you for the quick answer. My biggest problem are the ribs on the outside and on the round surface.

I already tried with embossing but that didn't work out well.

Did you take a look at my attached video.  You want to use the Rib Command.

Hey John,

I tried using a 3D sketch but the rib doesn't work.

You need to look at my video again.  I did not use a 3D sketch or a Profile, I only used a single line.  I will admit after looking at your model, a rib cannot be created that "overhangs" the model as yours does on two of your gussets.
